The Cultural Services of the French Consulate in Chicago provides information and news on scholarship, interniship and teaching assistantship programs in France. It also helps find information on French cultural events in the Midwest.
The Kolb-Proust Archive
The University of Illinois Library houses an outstanding collection of Proustiana, the result of the remarkable work of the late Philip Kolb. A professor of French at the Univeristy, Professor Kolb devoted his professional life to a complete edition of Proust's correspondence, published by Plon in twenty-one volumes. The Kolb-Proust Archive for Research is devoted to the study of the Proust and his time.
The American Council of Québec Studies
The ACQS is devoted to the study of the culture and history of Québec and Francophone North America. In addition to publishing the journal Québec Studies, the ACQS hosts a biennial conference for scholars in all areas of interest related to Québec.
